Ingraham returned to Fox News Channel, Monday, April 9, 2018, with a passionate speech about what she called “Stalinist” liberal bullies attempting to stifle the free speech of conservatives. Fox News host Laura Ingraham is at it again. And this time she is disrespecting the dead. The day after beloved rapper, activist and community builder Nipsey Hussle was memorialized and buried, the controversial commentator mocked him on her show, reported Black Sports Online.

To make matters worse, Ingraham once again got her facts wrong. Sarcastically referring to Hussle as “this dear artist,” Ingraham said the deceased icon recently released a song called “FDT,” which stands for “F**k Donald Trump.” Hussle was featured on “FDT” as a guest artist, but the song is actually YG’s and was released in 2016.

Part 1: Jamarlin talks to justice-tech pioneer Frederick Hutson, who founded Pigeonly to create communications products for inmates and their families that reduce the destructive impact of incarceration.

Ingraham played a clip of “FDT” showing YG, not Hussle, rapping the chorus. Afterwards, she laughed and said it was “a very creative refrain” and asked if it was “related to the lowest unemployment ever basically for African Americans.”

Many are calling for Ingraham to be fired. The Game breathed life into the protest with an Instagram post on Sunday, according to The Washington Post, A screenshot of Ingraham’s segment was accompanied by a long caption.

“We are NO LONGER laying quiet while you continuously disrespect our brother, culture African Americans as a whole,” The Game wrote. “I will use my platform & call on my peers to do the same. Nips passing nor his legacy is to be taken lightly as there will be consequences for any disrespect now or in the future as long as I have a voice!!!”

He is joined by other prominent figures in the hip-hop and R&B community like Snoop Dogg, T.I., Tank and others using their platforms to call for Ingraham’s termination. Hussle’s supporters believe Ingraham is belittling his legacy. Her segment made no mention of the community work he did. Nor did it highlight any positive messages he delivered. Her commentary earned her Charlamagne Tha God’s “Donkey of the Day” title Monday. He blasted her insensitivity and lack of empathy.

This isn’t the first time Ingraham has come under fire for her racist comments. Last year, she attacked LeBron James, telling him to keep his political comments to himself and to just “shut up and dribble.”
