The Government of Rwanda and the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA) have signed a USD 8.6 million support agreement aimed at building sustainable national domestic research.

The one year support will be channeled through the National University of Rwanda where the funds will facilitate innovative research using on the ground data which will improve the lives of Rwandans as they lead to sound policy making and programs.
