Kenya has set out to switch to digital broadcasting by June 30 2014, but in phases.
Kenya’s Digital Television Committee said today that Phase one commences with Nairobi on December 13, 2013.
“Phase two will end on March 30, 2014 and will cover Mombasa, Malindi, Nyeri, Meru, Kisumu, Webuye, Kisii, Nakuru and Eldoret,” said ICT Principal Secretary, Joseph Tiampati in Nairobi.
