Ghana’s Economic Challenges Will Be Fixed, Declares President Mahama

Things will get better and better, declared President John Dramani Mahama recently. He gave the assurance that government is up to the task of making Ghanaians comfortable although the first half of the year experienced some turbulence, reports Ghana Business News.

The turbulence, he said, was caused by the energy crises and economic challenges.

President Mahama addressed a meeting of members of the Council of State at the Peduase Lodge in the Eastern Region, which was also attended by Vice President Paa Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur.

It was the first time President Mahama attended the meeting of the Council, which was inaugurated early this year, reports Ghana Business News.

According to the president,  the economy is somewhat derailed by wage negotiations but government is focused to take solid recovery measures.
