What are some counterintuitive predictions about cryptocurrency going into 2018?

Not sure if they’re counter-intuitive, but here are some things I think are going to happen:
The amount of support for cryptocurrency is going to increase, but the amount of people coming out against cryptocurrency are going to rise immensely. You can hear some of the chattering now, but when the price drops, you’re going to here a choir from the horizon singing “I TOLD YOU SO!!!”
The number of ICO projects are going to continue, but be less noticed. We’ll have a record breaking year for new projects, but you’re probably not going to hear about it. The quality of projects will improve as well, but it will be harder to find them as the market crowds grow.
A lot of ICO project teams from this year are going to just disappear or completely collapse. Blockchain is an early platform, and 80%+ don’t have what it takes to see it through. It’s easier to abandon ship and re-brand with a new team having ‘learned from your mistakes’ than sinking with the ship. This truly sucks for investors, but that’s un-regulated industry for you.

Going into the 2018, I would suggest you to invest in ICO tokens, because these ICO tokens have a huge potential for the growth and their growth rate is sometimes more than the cryptocurrency themselves. But the right ICO token has to chosen if you a aim of hitting high. Here I list some of the ICO tokens that have the huge potential to be at the top.

The price of Bitcoin will continue to rise and level out a level 10 to 100x higher than it is now.Bitcoin is not an asset to be valued, but a technology to be adopted. Once mass adoption occurs, it’s value will be tremendous (think $500,000 per Bitcoin) and it will primarily be a means of storing value akin to gold as well as a platform to pay for and settle high value goods.
Of course, this may take decades to come to fruition, but this is counter-intuitive because while people are talking about a “crash” they are missing out on the long term value of this innovative financial platform.
