What will the price of Litecoin be in 2018?
Considering :
There are and will be a lot of challenges for the function of medium of exchange, doing better in a few fields (Vertcoin, omiseGO, Dash, Decred, TenX…). But today, you won’t find a single cryptocurrency doing better than Litecoin in all the points mentioned.
If Litecoin only succeeds to take 10% of its target market (retail payments = $21 trillion according to Capgemini Global Payments 2016), one LTC will be worth more than $23 000 in the coming years. That sounds quite unrealistic…like a bitcoin worth $17 000 today if you asked the question a few years ago.At the end of 2018, following its technical roadmap and making the gap versus its competitor, one Litecoin can approach $1000.

I won’t give an actual number because as I look back on everybody’s price predictions answers from earlier this year, 99% of them are dead wrong. For obvious reasons. (Some even went as far as to say Litecoin has no future!) But I will say Litecoin has an extremely bright future ahead! I bought LTC at $24 earlier this year and watched it grow, largely unnoticed, for most of 2017. It has been overlooked because of Bitcoin’s meteoric and historic rise to $10K, but will finally make its presence known in 2018. Charlie Lee recently announced he was going to spend a lot more time at marketing Litecoin which should help drive Litecoin’s price up. Yesterday the game company Valve said they are replacing Bitcoins with Litecoins. This was a huge win for Litecoin and it made the price go up about 50%.
If Charlie and team will continue forward making strategic moves and partnerships going forward in 2018, there is no reason why Litecoin can’t hit $1000 dollars by the end of 2018.

Probably LTC will reach at least $2000 at the end of 2018 if there are more marketing and applications. This means that LTC market cap will be about 130 billion. This seems an easy thing for Litecoin. Right?
