Your question has so many right answers. If you want a crypto that is already on track you can visit Cryptocurrency Market Capitalizations | CoinMarketCap and chooses one of the top 10 crypto coins to invest in it. If you want something that it’s about to be launched and it’s going to be also very exponentially profitable. I would go for Beluga and/or Crypterium. But, that’s just my opinion. I’m not an expert but I am crypto investor and this is not a financial advice. Cheers.

Hands down my favorite coin right now is XTRABYTES(XBY) Evolving Blockchain Solutions. They have developed a brand new algorithm that will have faster transaction speeds, can easily scale with adoption and has a strong community that is growing every day. It is a small market cap coin so it does not need nearly the amount of overall investment to increase in price that a large coin needs. Proof-of-Signature (PoSign) is a novel algorithm for achieving blockchain consensus that is unique to XTRABYTES. In addition to being eco-friendly, the core protocol is based on an initial 512 decentralized STATIC nodes. PoSign does not rely upon block mining to add transaction records to its blockchain. By eliminating this, XTRABYTES has ensured that no miner or group of miners can take control of the blockchain (known as a 51% attack). There is a major test of the network coming in the next few weeks. Once it is complete registration for STATIC nodes will begin. Designed as a system of real and virtual network nodes, STATIC nodes produce signature-verified transactions by rapidly communicating with each other. While the STATIC network’s online nodes validate blocks as they occur, the network’s offline nodes double-check these blocks as they come online. If you setup a STATIC node you will earn tx fees as well as some percentage of the network traffic fees. It will also have the effect of reducing the total circulating supply of the coin. These are major factors for the coin to gain value in the short term. The long term gains should be significant as the network grows and more applications begin to run on it. From experience, it’s impossible to predict what is the best cryptocurrency to invest in at any given time. What you should be focusing on is to hold a portfolio of cryptocurrencies and to diversify into different areas (e.g bitcoin is a digital currency, ethereum a form of developer platform that is decentralized and uses smart contracts). I’m currently holding: Ethereum, Iota, Lisk, Waves, Tierion, Nimiq, Dent, Aragon, NEO – each have their own strengths and weaknesses. If you don’t have the expertise and time to create a solid portfolio, sign up to Financial Software and Wealth Management for Cryptocurrencies, who provides portfolio advice using its sophisticated algorithms.

Right now my main bets are:
NXT because it haven’t exploded (I bought it for 5 cents though), but I am waiting for more attention, because 28th of December will be blockchain snapshot where people are going to get 0.5 of IGNIS (2NXT = 1 IGNIS). I am sure NXT will be dumped right after Snapshot.

  • ARDR – same, but technology will live long life. And it will gain strength. BUT for each ARDR you will get 1 IGNIS. Last time I checked, IGNIS was 1.88$ (1 NXT = 1 IGNIS).
  • Stellar Lumens – I just love that coin for transactions. Using it every day. It is perfect to me. And doesn’t worth anything. There is transaction’s worth around 0.0001 of 1 stellar (which worth 0.156$). And I am holding 0.1% of entire market cap of Stellar. This is approval that I believe that. Also transactions are very fast. Take seconds (maximum was 2 minutes as far as I remember). I love that coin 🙂
  • Decentraland (Mana) – I love that coin. Because I believe that VR (Virtual reality is a future). Nissan is preparing commercial about VR by Christmas. Also got some insider’s information about Magic Leap that they are going to start pre-sale their things after 15th of December meeting. And Decentraland will be attending that and I feel that something major is coming.
  • XRB – I have some beliefs that this coin can take over IOTA. I saw statistics of those coins (comparison), I found that XRB is better. And price and total supply is MUCH lower. Time to grow up, XRB! 🙂

I am not talking about LTC, ETH which are going to double AT LEAST (I am expecting triple) next year. Hopefully you enjoyed my explanation 🙂 And by the way, finally NXT is taking off!!!

I think there a lot of answers to your question. I will tell you my advice, but don’t follow it simply because I wrote about it.

  • Ethereum – Ethereum has more applications than bitcoin
  • Ethereum is backed by fortune 500 companies
  • Ethereum is being incorporated by financial institution

The other one is Monero – The market cap is 0.5% of Bitcoin’s for wildly superior intrinsic technology. The day crypto investors realize this and the Zcrash trusted setup scam is finally out of the way, it could shoot up overnight.
