Angola And Namibia Share Salt, Trade, Benguela Current

Neighboring Angola and Namibia, which share share one of the world’s most productive ecosystems, say they plan to reinforce business ties, according to a report in AllAfrica.

Both sub-Saharan countries benefit from the bounty of the the Benguela current, and their officials will jointly tackle challenges in fisheries, salt production and the management of seals, the report says.

Both countries produce salt for trade and are studying mechanisms to help the trade.
