South Africa’s Wild Coast in the Eastern Cape features is one of my favorite stretches of coastline in the world. It’s perfect for those traveling on a budget. Free activities abound and so do inexpensive lodgings. One of the chillest towns in South Africa, Coffee Bay is a hippie outpost with a mellow vibe, awesome beaches, and a few great backpacker hostels. Hiking trails are everywhere, offering free activities beyond the beach.
