Japanese Co. Nitura to Build Textile Factory, Grow Cotton in Mozambique
A Japanese company plans to build a textile complex with units for spinning, weaving and apparel manufacture, said António Alberto, the northern regional delegate of the Mozambican Cotton Institute.
The Japanese company Nitura also aims to use 4,000 hectares in the Malema district to produce the cotton needed for the textile complex to operate, Alberto told the Maputo-based daily Notícias.
