Tanzania to Dodge ‘Unfair Export Incentives’, Increase Cement Production

Amplified capital spending in Tanzania’s cement industry has boosted the East African country’s annual cement production. Cement production in the country may shortly reach six million tonnes, which is double the existing three million tonnes, according to Tanzania’s Daily News.

On May 28 this year, Dangote Cement began the erection of a $500 million/3 million tonne factory in Mtwara.
Dangote Cement is a cement firm and has businesses in Nigeria and 14 other African states.
