Two Hat-Tricks In Four Days For Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Gabon striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has continued his incredible attacking form in Germany with his second hat-trick in the space of four days.

His club side Borussia Dortmund defeated Augsburg 5-1 on Sunday in Bundesliga action thanks to three goals from the talented 26-year-old attacker who represents Gabon on the international stage.

He opened the scoring in the 18th minute, before getting two more goals late in the game to secure a four goal victory.

Three days earlier Aubameyang registered a hat-trick in European club competition against Azerbaijan side Qabala in Europa League play, defeating them 3-1 at the Bakcell Arena thanks to another fantastic performance from the French-born player.

With the three he contributed in Sunday’s encounter, the striker has now scored 20 goals in 17 matches in all competitions for the Dortmund outfit, proving his worth at the club and showing why he has been a player in demand over the years.

In the Bundesliga alone he has 13 goals in 10 matches, putting him joint top of the scorers’ list in Germany alongside Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski.

Dortmund are currently second in the German league on 23 points, while Bayern Munich continue their march towards the title with a maximum 30 points following a record-extending 10th win in 10 league games against Cologne.
