Bilateral talks between the Ghana government and its UK counterpart on what has been described as high level partnership proposals have began in Accra. The outcome is expected to form the basis for a paradigm shift in the relations between the two countries.
The UK Minister for Africa, Mark Simmonds announced this before he held a close door meeting with the Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur at Flagstaff House in Accra. Mr Mark Simmonds said Britain has not yet taken a definite decision on the proposed 3,000 pounds visa bond.
